No, we are still running the 32-bit kernel. As for the TSM client we did
install this ourselves after the upgrade. We install the 5.1.6.14
version, but since you asked I noticed something strange. Whenever I do
a lslpp -l Tivoli.tsm* the only fileset I find that are committed are
the /usr/lib/objrepos filesets. The /etc/objrepos filesets do not even
show up. I'm wondering if these problems might be connected
somehow....hmmmmm.

Are you running the 64-bit kernel? If so, I assume you're also running
the 64-bit version of Oracle 9i. You no longer need the Oracle kernel
extensions; comment them out or delete them (depending on your local
policy) from the inittab. Did you install the 5.1 version of the TSM
Client?

I was wondering...after upgrading to AIX 5.1 has anyone had any
issues with inittab entries executing? We recently upgraded the server
to AIX 5.1 ML05 and ever since then inittab does not appear to be able
to start our dsmc sched process, load kernel extensions for oracle, etc.
The system boots up fine and all the entries in inittab meet syntax
requirements. Any ideas?
