Hi Folks:
Up front, I do not have extensive AIX experience.
I am interested in how others do backup and disaster
recovery of the rootvg volume group. What if a physical
volume in my rootvg failed? How should I have been backing
up and how to restore? I know about "mksysb" and
have been making those. Is "savevg" indicated as
well? Have not had such a disaster yet, just preparing
for the possibility.
