Hello Bill,
I'm trying to figure out the syntax on scp.
scp /etc/hosts userprofileOnmachineB@machineB: /etc/hosts
scp: .: not a regular file
Any help today? TIA!

Does anyone know of a ftp command that will transfer files/directories
while
maintaining the permissions of the files as they were on the originating
system?
I am attempting to ftp a number of files from AIX 1 to PC to AIX 2 and in
the process am losing the permissions.
Any suggestions for an alternate transport method are welcome.
TIA
Vipin
