On /etc/qconfig :
Set backend = /usr/lib/lpd/pio/etc/piorlfb -f ! -T60 (-T60 increases the
timeout to one hour), similar flag for others backends

Also modify this line on /usr/lib/lpd/pio/etc/piorlfb:

typeset piorlfb_rbflags="-T60" # rembak flags

After that restart the qdaemon.

Subject: AIX 5.2 qdaemon / spooler system

I have an issue with some print queues on a 5.2 host. It appears that when
jobs are sent too fast to the printer, the print queue goes down.

If I re-enable the queue, the jobs print. Is there some kind of tuning
that can be preformed to slow down the sending of jobs to the printer from
the queue? How can I diagnosis what the cause of the problem is. I do not
experience this issue with a 4.3.3 host with the same printer queue and
printer.
PS the printer queues where migrated over from the 4.3.3 to the 5.2 host.
