We have 2 MCA 7015-R30 that are still on IBM H/W support. You just can't go
AIX 5.2 S/W.

My guess would be that it's been out of hardware support for a long
time, unless you have some sort of special maintenance agreement with
IBM. You will probably want to check with your CE or IBM rep and see
what's available.

Microchannel machines went the way of the dinosaur, at least as far as
support goes, a couple years ago IIRC...

Subject: how long support for mca node?

Hi *,

I need an information, how long I receive still support for the hardware
from a mca-node (120MHz). I know, the node runs on AIX 5.1 and this
AIX-Version is supportet still april-2006. But what is with the
hardware?

Any link or information?

Best regards,
Frank Mueller
