Is it possible the console is going elsewhere?
I had a similar problem on p670, thought the box had hung, but was able to
ping and ssh to it. Doing chcons fixed.

It seems to hung at this screen; (the led display shows 608) The tftpboot
log shows that the boot file transfer was successfull.
