If you want more disk space with that SSA Drawer, look into RAID 5. It works pretty darn well! Do a smit ssaraid. It's pretty easy to setup. There are no problems swapping out bad PV's, it can be done on the fly.
RAID5 uses approximately one PV per RAID Array. As you know, when you mirror, you give up eight PV's per SSA Drawer.

replacing our J40 with a p630. We want to continue
using an existing 7133-600 array filled with 9.1G
drives for another year, when they'll be replaced. Do
the current SSA adapters support the model 600 array?
