You don't even need telnet.

export DISPLAY=<IP Address of other server:0.0>
      xhost <same IP address>

All

I have 2 AIX boxes, 1 with an ascii terminal, one with a graphics terminal.

I want to run an X application(oracle install) on the server which has the
ascii console. Use of Exceed or similar not an option.

If, from the graphics console, I telnet to the server with the ascii
console, what DISPLAY settings and xhost command do I need to run to be
able
to kick off the X application?

This should be simple, but I can't seem to get it to work.
