On one of our 4.3.3 servers, we are experiencing some NFS performance
problems. If larger amount of data is copied, then the kernel hangs for a
little while (~1 minute), and then things stabalize again. If the admin
changes to nfs version 2, it "fixes" the problem. There isn't much activity
on this server now, so overloading shouldn't be a problem.
Has anybody seen this before? I did find that somebody had a similar problem
on a database-related mailing list, but never saw a resolution.
