For sure!

For a console server, we're using a locally pieced together system. The
console lines connect to a cisco terminal server. The cisco terminal
server front ends an openBSD box. When I need access to the AIX console,
I ssh into the openBSD box, type in the name of the machine I need a
console for, and away I go. This server is working for a redhat machine I
also administrate, but not yet for the 630. But now I've been told by
someone who should know, the problem isn't at my end. So I'm waiting for
the person who takes care of the console server to come in so he can fix
it.

My supervisor isn't an AIX expert. It was just blind luck we got the
machine going again. I was ready to start again from a mksysb image we've
got. I'm just learning to administrate AIX, the person who used to do it
is on vacation right now, so I'm mostly on my own. Fortunately, this 630
isn't a production machine yet.
