Simon,
The requirements are basically restart ability with error logging and job
statistics. I thought about scripting a wrapper for them but this has
potential to be thousands of jobs and the scripting could get rather ugly.
The Tivoli solution might be an option also.
Thanks
-Darryl

It sounds like you're after a scheduling package: something more powerful
than cron but without spending significant amounts - or any? - money. Is
that right?
If so, what features do you require?
If your needs are really basic you should be able to cope adequately by
writing a wrapper script, to invoke your jobs and provide simple job-flow.

Subject: Job Streaming
Is anyone using or even heard of an AIX job streaming program? What I need
to do is cron 1 job, or a job streamer that will launch multiple jobs. We
are trying to consolidate some of our batch processing.
