Personally, I'd think the reboot fixed it more than changing the copy
device...

I have a 5.1 machine I recently had an interesting problem with. /var fs
was filling up w/o a culprit. Even when I added more space, it would slowly
fill up to 100% without a single file growing!

Once I changed the dump copy device from /var/blah, rebooted, it was happy.
Any insight or ideas into this??
