Just replace the DS parm with your mail server:
# "Smart" relay host (may be null)
DSnotes3.whatever.com
Hopefully, it will resolve from your hosts file. Good luck! DNS can wreak
havoc quickly.

I have a couple AIX 4.3.3.10 Boxes running in our DMZ. I had to rename my
/etc/resolv.conf file to get Oracle to see its hostname correctly, rather
than looking at the DMZ's DNS Entry. Now I cannot get emails, these AIX
Boxes do not want to send me emails without the resolv.conf file. I put in
our domain name into the /etc/hosts but no joy.
Any help on configuring the /etc/sendmail.cf file, using the Smart Relay
Option. Or, any thoughts or ideas. TIA!
