Was this disk used elsewhere, possibly in an array? And is the SSA
controller that you are currently using a non-raid controller?
If so, I have one in the same state, and from what I've been able to
determine, the only way to get it to show up as an hdisk is to re-attach
to a raid controller and change the status there.
If anyone else has another way to do this, I'd love to hear it, as I've
come up empty so far.
