I don't think IBM has to come out and "turn on" DLPAR for you. I'm pretty
sure it's how things are configured in your HMC. Please see the attached
documents I received from my IBM business partner. I haven't been able to
get DLPAR's working on my p650 yet due to time constraints. Hope this
helps. Let me know what you find out. Thanks.

Hi All,
We are configuring our new P650 with two LPARS, one for dvlp and one for
prod.
We have finished with communications "SAN Cards GB etc." we were told by
our IBM rep that once that was finished we needed to call and have a CE
come out and turn on dynamic lparing in the "Service Focal Point" menu on
the HMC.. Well, I called IBM "software and hardware" support to schedule
the CE. Support had a hard time understanding what we needed. And sent
out a hardware CE today. He had no idea what to do... Has anyone had to
do this? Or has anyone been through the same?
