Hi all,
Sorry for such a trivial little question, but...... Is there a way to
disable the (beep/speaker) on a RS/6000 from the command line or smit? I
have a 44P-170 as my workstation and I am not running CDE, I know I can
turn the sound off when running CDE, but if I do that and start my window
manager "gnome" the sound returns.
Again, not very important, but I hate that periodic beep.
