I wasn't suggesting you move /tmp out of rootvg. Rather, add another disk
to rootvg, or break the mirror so that you can use one disk for /tmp and one
for the rest of rootvg. Both disks remain in rootvg. All of this can be
done on-line, using rmlvcopy and - if necessary - migratepv.

You can't change the JFSlog for any of this, though, without booting into
maintenance mode.
