BMC's Patrol Console is requiring 'supported JRE Version from
1.2.2 to 1.4', to install on AIX 4.3.3 machines.
AIX 4.3.3 installation CDs contains a Java Runtime Environment
1.1.8 (as part of Graphics-Startup Easy Bundle). This version is
strongly out of date.
Updates at the IBM Support Site don't go further than 1.1.8.16
for the Java.rte package.
Question is:
IBM's Java Development has a Java130.rte 1.3.0; could it be
Considered as 'supported JRE version'? Or, as usual in IBM
products, it is completely out of standarts??
