We have a P630 (AIX 5.1-ML03) hosting Oracle 9. When our EMC Admin tried
to
import (BCVs of) the P630 production VGs onto our 7026-H70 TSM server (AIX
4.3.3-ML10) for backup, he received the following error:
0516-002 lqueryvg: The volume group version is incompatible with this
level
of the operating system and cannot be activated.
Has anyone else had trouble trying (or even attempted) to import an AIX
5.1
volume group onto AIX 4.3.3?
We are running the 32-bit version of the new OS... doesn't seem to
matter...
