The older, discontinued AIX Connections does this.
(Connections is the previous product of Fast Connect.)

I've been working on a solution to this for the last
couple of months. Working on authentication on the
windows side - whether it needs a local account or can
use a ActiveDirectory-domain account and such...

I have AIX Connections 4.1.4 working on 4.3.2.0, 4.3.3.10,
and 5.1.3 boxes. (From looking at the patch website, the
Connections program was discontinued at 4.1.6)

AIX 5.2 has a SMBfs for AIX component (bos.cifs module)

I am going to take a look at sharity next...

or can point me to some source of information on this?
