Harish,

The mac address is a burned in constant. You can supply an alternate
ethernet (locally administered) mac address.

Run smitty chgenet to display/change or lsattr -El entx to display, and
chdev -l entx -a use_alt_addr=yes -a alt_addr=0x00000000000n to change.

You must first "ifconfig enx down detach" the interface before you can
change it (this will drop all connections and possibly yours).

Then "ifconfig up enx".

If your default route in on this interface, you may need to add it back.
