If software constrains make you stay at 4.3.3 on the home node, then if the
application falls over to the other node, it will expect the same
environment. Or is the constrain of a different nature?
Also, verify that you have the level of HACMP that is supported with AIX
5.1.

Subject: HACMP and 4.3.3 and 5.1

Anyone out there running a cluster with a 5.1 Box Cascaded with a 4.3.3.10
Box?

Due to software constraints we may have to stay on 4.3.3.10 but will be
going to 5.1 on the other node.

thank you.
