Type the command : lsvg rootvg . The output should be similar to RENV _Ref536870745 \h \* FUSIONFORMAT Figure 44. However, the Quorum line should now indicate 1.
A dedicated system dump space for AIX must be created to replace hd6. We must first check the status of the current system dump. Type the following command :
sysdumpdev -l
primary /dev/hd6
secondary /dev/sysdumpnull
copy directory /var/adm/ras
forced copy flag TRUE
always allow dump FALSE
dump compression OFF

Check the estimated dump size of system:
sysdumpdev -e
0453-041 Estimated dump size in bytes: 179306496
