You have bigger problems than that warning message. What is the output of cllsif?

Warning: There is no service with boot adapter gen_boot on node genoa and on network gen_boot.

Warning: There is no service adapter with standby adapter gen_stby on node genoa and on network gen_stby.

Warning: There is no service with boot adapter rub_boot on node genoa and on network rub_boot.

Warning: There is no service adapter with standby adapter rub_stby on node ruby and on network rub_stby.

Adapter Type Network Net Type Attribute Node IP Address Hardware Address Interface Name Global Name Netmask

gen_boot boot gen_boot ether public genoa 10.131.70.37

gen_stby standby gen_stby ether public genoa 10.131.143.50 en0

gen_svc service gen_svc ether public genoa 10.131.70.36 en1

rub_boot boot rub_boot ether public genoa 10.131.70.35

gen_serial service serial rs232 serial genoa sa1

rub_stby standby rub_stby ether public ruby 10.131.143.51

rub_svc service rub_svc ether public ruby 10.131.70.38

rub_serial service serial rs232 serial ruby s1

A few things you could look into:
-did you reboot the nodes after installation?
I did reboot!

-you have to configure only on one node, and then synchronization will populate the configuration to the other nodes. Is this what you did?

I tried doing one side then the other. From what I understand the cldare -t will write on top of the other node.

-gen_svc and rub_svc should have respective node-names configured.

They do.

This message tipically happens when you have boot adapters on a node, but no service adapter is associated with it. In some cases, this may be exactly what you want to do.
Describe your configuration, and I can tell you if you should care about this message, or not.

I'm getting the below error while trying to implement a Cascading HACMP environment on a pair of 6M1's.

# cldare -t

Warning: There is no service with boot adapter rub_boot on node xxxx and on network rub_boot.

Any thoughts? Thank you.

thank you!
