go into the diag utility, go to service aids, then the ssa service
aids....there'll be one for "identify"...this will blink the little light on
it.

Subject: disk serial number

        Hi!

I have a bad disk on the ssa sub system and have to replace
it. I wanted to know how to find the right disk to replace. The list
configuration command does not show the correct serial number. Is there any
other way. I know the diag would show it. But I need to know if there is any
other commands that can be used.

  Thanks,

   shekar
