Bill,

Thanks!

This got rid of the "ctrmc" message

Now the system is hung at:

0513-059 The hostmibd Subsystem has been started. Subsystem PID is 5452.
 6 Nov 07:03:47 ntpdate[4508]: can't find host ntp-server
6 Nov 07:03:47 ntpdate[4508]: no servers can be used, exiting
Finished starting tcpip daemons.

What next?

Thanks!

DaveZ

The ctrmc is a cluster fileset that the Regatta's use. I suggest you boot
into maintenance mode and remove the filesets.

Folks,

I have been searching the FAQs and archives but was unable to find any
pertinent info

I am attempting to clone a P690 LPAR mksysb onto a RS6000 7013(595) JSERIES
server

Everything went OK but it is hanging at this point:

Saving Base Customize Data to boot disk
Starting the sync daemon
Starting the error daemon
System initialization completed.

0513-059 The sendmail Subsystem has been started. Subsystem PID is 4156.

0513-059 The ctrmc Subsystem has been started. Subsystem PID is 3382.

No login

I have disconnected the ethernet cables

Any help?

Thanks!
