Yep, we ran into the same problems, having to do with the dreaded 3 headed
dog Kerberos and, in our case, a "native mode" W2K domain. I'm not proud to
say I never got a satisfactory fix for the problem and took a different path
for our SAMBA needs. Since we were going to an EMC SAN with their Celerra
NAS access, we chose to NFS mount the NAS file systems and share the same
file systems on CIFS. Since the IP access between our AIX box and the NAS
is GigE, access is fine.
I know this probably doesn't help your case, but yes, I fought that pretty
hard but got no good answer.

Subject: AIX fast connect and win2000
Hi All ,
I have installed and configured AIX fast connect on AIX4339 . I can access
shares defined on AIX system using windows 95 and NT but not 2000 .
Does anyone know if there are any issues accessing 2000 ? When I try net use
command I get access denied error . It won't accept user name and password
.
