I had vague recollections that extendlv was OK, but I should have checked.

I've just run a test and can confirm that increasing the size of the paging
space
with extendlv does NOT make the extra space available.

lsps -a just shows the LV size.
lsps -s or svmon -G will show you how much paging space is really available.

Adding another partition, using chps, will make all of the partitions
available.
Unfortunately, you do have to add a partition: "chps -s 0 hd6" doesn't do
anything,
nor does "chps hd6".

A reboot will also take care of this.
