RE: eServer PSeries 650On an AIX 4.3 system running sendmail, all manually generated e-mail and most crontab-generated e-mail are delivered without incident.
However periodically e-mail to a particular user are generated as coming from the host machine without it also specifying the domain. It seems as though all e-mail to root are generated without incident, only those to one particular user have this problem and then only some of the time. These are, in turn, rejected by CommuniGate as having an invalid host/domain name syntax.
To my knowledge, no significant changes have been made to the sendmail configuration file rules.
Ideas?
