The strict policy is that disk drives and tape drives should not share the
same HBA. I have heard of people getting away with it but I would not do
it.

I have some AIX systems with 2 fibre channel cards each one. We have
conected one SAN disk array and a IBM 3584 library connected to a Mac Data.
The AIX system see the disk trough the two fibre channels. I need now to see
the drives too. I need to decide if the drives must use a new fibre channel
card or we can use the two cards ( or one of them ) with disks to see the
drives too. Does anyone knows any recommendation or have any experiences
about this?
