yeah, that's what i'm doing...so far haven't gotten to the point of doing
any inserts/updates, but selects are working fine. No problems.

Did you have any issues with the older version of DBI
and DBD? All I'm looking for are drivers to connect to
Oracle and do simple selects/inserts/updates/deletes
to an 8.1.7 database. Nothing real fancy.
