I also use Hummingbird. I have the mouse at my desk set up so when both
buttons are pressed it acts like a third IBM mouse middle button (paste).
All you have to do is highlight your text and depress both buttons and it's
coppied to the next command line in your Hummingbird x -session. To put
xterm text into a mail program such as Outlook, I just highlight the text
and press 'ctrl+v' (you obviously can't right click paste) and it pastes the
text in the message.

It doesn't stay white in the aixterm but it is still in the "clipboard"
nonetheless. I like what I select to stay highlighted, and that is the
ONE reason I use xterm and never use aixterm.

I am using exceed to get the desktop on my PC monitor.
when I use aixterm to login to RS6000 boxes, during cut and paste, the
highlighting (mark) part is not same as xterm. In xterm when i
highlight
(mark) the selected part stays white so I can go to edit and chose copy
x-selection , but the highlighting part doesn't stay white in
aixterm.
My main problem is some times I want to cut and paste info/script from
unix terminal to mail programs
it doesn't work. The configurion I have choosen for X selection is =>
primary, autocopy x selection, autopaste x selectcion.
My Exceed verion is 6.1.0
Please help
