Hai,
I have a script which will use the df -k command and list u all the
Fs's which exceed the limit(As set by you)
It is 2 scripts which handle the whole operation...The actual execution
happens in the 1st script and for formatting the results we are using the
second script, since it was mentioned that the script has to finally list
only that fs which have exceeded the prescribed limit..i had to do to go for
this...if someone can help me in completing this task using a single script
it would be helpful....execute the script dfk to get the required output
Note: pl keep these 2 scripts in the same directory and run.....

Thanx

Subject: script for df-k filesystem alerts...

Just a request to see if someone out there already has a
simple script I could setup in cron that runs a df -k and
then parses the output to find anything over a certain
percentage in the %used column. I could use a little help
on the parsing part. I'm going to then push that line of
output to an alert email.

thanks in advance,
troy
