Hi !

I had a strange problem on my AIX server 4.3.3 with Informix 7.24UC3 and TSM
with TDP for Informix version 3.7. While restoring the backup using "onbar
-r -w -p " (The db size 280 GB and is backed up on 3 tapes using onbar -b -w
0) , it gave the following error on TSM level as

09/09/02 19:25:32 ANR8468I 3590 volume SUN242 dismounted from drive
DRIVE1 (/dev/rmt1) in library LIB1.
09/09/02 19:26:05 ANR8463E 3590 volume SUN243 is write protected.

09/09/02 19:26:36 ANR1402W Mount request denied for volume SUN243 -
volume unavailable.
09/09/02 19:26:36 ANR1410W Access mode for volume SUN243 now set to
"unavailable".
09/09/02 19:26:36 ANR0542W Retrieve or restore failed for session 375
for node BRAMHA (TDP Infmx AIX42) - storage media inaccessible.

09/09/02 19:26:36 ANR0403I Session 375 ended for node BRAMHA (TDP Infmx
AIX42).

It restored from SUN241, SUN242 and it gave error as shown above. I got an
error in dsierror file as

09/09/02 19:26:36 ANS4991I TDP Infmx AIX42 ANE4991 xlateRC - ANS1314E
(RC14)
File data currently unavailable on server

All the tapes were write-protected on tape level. Any idea why it should say
Mount request denied for volume SUN243 - volume unavailable

Thanks & regards
