You may try (without any risk) to generate a file called /etc/netsvc.conf with
the line :
hosts=bind4,local4
NB : I suppose you don't use IPV6, so this line will force to use IPV4. Some
TCPIP piles use IPV6 first, and you have to wait for a timeout. This could be
your problem.
