Bob,
Did you get your powerpath Clariion issue figured out?
In regards to the LUNZ devices that show up in your lsdev, go ahead and
delete them. They only show up when you first get zoned to the clariion
and have not yet been assigned a storage group.
Also did you know that you can not load balance across clariion SP's? From
you powermt output I noticed that you where connected to two different
SP's. Just wanted to make sure you where not trying to load balance...

Thanks Patrick, I came in this morning only to find my two fc paths dead.
Even after stopping/starting the agent, powermt config, and rebooting, they
only come back alive for about 10 minutes, then they go dead?

I would do a;
chdev -l hdiskpower0 -a pv=clear,
chdev -l hdiskpower0 -a pv=yes, to reinit your pvid, then
recreatevg -y vg_name hdiskpowername.
I just had to do this, this morning. This command will do importvg and a
varyonvg too.

Anybody seen anything similiar to this or have any insight? Help much
appreciated on this!
After a 5.1->5.2 upgrade, I found that I cannot import the volume group
which resides on a CX600 LUN. I have flashed the fcX adapters with the
latest microcode, andh here are the EMC software versions:
PowerPath 3.0.4.0
NaviAgent 6.2.0.6
CLArray 5.2.0.7
This is the error I'm getting:
[root@nad0019aixd05/home/root]# importvg -y oraclevg hdiskpower0
0516-024 lqueryvg: Unable to open physical volume.
Either PV was not configured or could not be opened. Run
diagnostics.

diagnostics.

powermt display dev=all shows this:
