I'd agree that it sounds like a PC problem. Clearly AIX is fine if the
other emulator is working normally. You might suggest he checks
configuration settings: is there some sort of log or history file in the
emulator which gets re-loaded when it starts and never cleared down? But I
wouldn't waste too much time on it: pass it to your PC support people.
