Re: disk missing in a VG

That's the only thing that worked.

We didn't rebooted the system, we tried to run rmlvcopy LV_NAME 1 PVID but
got errors, but... Later the command worked! So we were able to delete all
the PPs, then we tried the reducevg got error again, but later (???) the
command worked just fine... And that was all.

Maybe de reboot would be the correct thing to do before the rmlvcopy and
reducevg.

Thanks for all the help!!!

I think the problem may have been the odmdelete commands. These sorts of
commands should not normally be used until other avenues have been
exhausted.

It's likely that a simple reboot would put things back the way they were at
the start of this problem, permitting Gustavo to try again with the normal
commands.

If that worked, I'd start with "rmlvcopy <lv_name> 1 <PVID of missing
disk>", then try "reducevg rootvg <PVID>".
