Thinking about it, Wine is going to be a non-starter, almost certainly. It
relies on having the Windows binaries available. Now that might be
possible: through Samba if not directly. However quite obviously (now I
bother to think about it) they won't work on AIX.

You'd need something to emulate the Intel commands. Not impossible but I'm
not aware of anything that does. Possibly something for the Apple world,
since that's also PowerPC based would be a good starting point but I expect
it would require an awful lot of work and it would almost certainly not be
cost effective. It would probably be easier to convert the desired
application to run on AIX, or find an existing alternative product.

Of course, that wasn't what Mr Kumar wanted in the first place, so it's just
a (mildly) interesting intellectual exercise.
