We have IBM Pseries computer with AIX 4.3.3 installed. Their has one hard
disk failed on 2104 disk array. Thei 2104 connect to Ultra SCSI3
(2498) RAID card. The failed hard disk is "hot spare". I list
information follow:

My questions are:
1. why "hot spare" hard dsik will fail?
2. I check the 2104 disk array and "light" is NOT "ON" failed hard
disk. Why?
3. Does anyone have procedure how to replace this failed "hot spare" disk?
