It looks like the "." and ".." in any filesystem's root directory both have
inode 2, so that's nothing to worry about. (Try it with /home or /tmp if
you want to see.) The rest of it is probably down to permissions. Check
what the permissions on the /userapp directory are, and also on the
underlying mount point, (compare it with the original /usrapp, assuming that
didn't give this problem).
