Note that the sysdumpdev command will NOT create a new dump device! It sets
the default dump device to hd7 but it doesn't check whether hd7 exists, or
create it if it's missing.

The dump device must be created manually. It's just a raw LV. You might
like to give it a type of "dump". (mklv -t dump ...)
