Subject: 7026-B80 problem

I am having a h/w problem on a 7026-B80
this machine is not under warranty, nor is it under maintenance.

I powered down the machine. removed an artic960 card. when I power it on I
get

4b20000A
p1-c1

When I look in the service guide, it says:

all processors got deconfigured

1. replace processor card
2. replace system board

neither of these are things I want to do, nor do I believe the cards are bad

so I pulled the battery and waited. put it back in and rebooted. same error.

examining the card in p1-c1 (cpus) it looks fine. I have unseated and
re-seated it. The card has 2 yellow lights on it. I don't know whether these
are supposed to be lit or not

any help would be much appreciated
