We just installed the LTO tape driver to Pseries computer (AIX 4.3.3 and
Atape 5.44). It worked correctly with "tar" command. We tried to use it
with InformiX backup command "tbunload/tbload" have problem:
the "tbunload" command is
$ tbunload
Usage: tbunload [-l] [-t <tape device>] [-b < kilobytes block size>] [-s
<kilobytes tape size>] <database>[:[<owner>.]<table>]
If I use
tbunload -b 32768 -s 16000000 -t /dev/rmt1 XXXX (work good with DLT tape)
I got error: 22
if I use
tbunload -t /dev/rmt1 XXXX
No error, BUT "tbload" got error
"tape is out of sequence. Experting tape number 1".
The LTO (3580) tape drive is setup:
block size: 0
Doe anyone know why it happen?
