Ignacio,

The redbook sg245971, Additional Security Tools for AIX Systems, touches on
this briefly.

imnadm owns imnss, imqss and httpdlite that are used with docsearch to view
man pages over the web.

I have disabled these services and disabled the imnadm userid, but did not
delete it.

You could probably uninstall the above related packages and remove the id,
otherwise you will have orphaned files.

Can't speak on invscout.

Subject: [aix-l] AIX users

Hello:
I need to get some information about two O.S. users (invscout and
imnadm) and the subsystems they "run" (microcode discovery
service/inventory scout and file indexing).
Can anyone supply a link (or just a few words) about these?

The point is: can I remove this users?

Thanks in advance
Regards
Ignacio
