when we did this, I wrote a script to create all the filesystems and vgs
(because we ran MANY test transfers, and it was simplest just to unmount
everything and wipe them clean in between). then we wrote a program that
took a list of filesystems and did a tar via cpio across an rlogin link.
went pretty smoothly, considering. We also had to write a script to create
the 200 modem ttys we had. Users were in nis, so I just ignored that bit.

I am soliciting all comments on a general plan to migrate an AIX 4.3.3
machine to another physical RISC machine.
Machine A has about 10 VG's and 30 PV's. Machine B is a new box. What is
