I'd like to thank everyone for their help with my problem which, briefly,
was that the operating system did not see the tape device inside of a TL891
tape library.
Actually was not a software or os problem at all, but the KZPSA card inside
the machine did not have its internal termintors on board, hence could not
see the tape drive.
HP engineers came up with this solution after numerous contacts with the
vendor, and it worked.
