Thanks to Aaron Siebert, Jason Orendorf, Thomas Sjolshagen, Mark Scarborough, Steve Thompson, and Örjan Petersson for replies.

4 of the people who responded have used addvol successfully in the past to increase the size of the cluster_root. That was good enough for me. It worked, and I am now in the process of my 5.1B-3 upgrade.

Thanks to everyone! Happy Saturday!

Paul

No answers on this one. So much for the warm and fuzzy. I'll let you
know how it goes...

Running Tru64 5.1B PK3 on ES40 cluster with HSG80 storage. I need to
install Tru64 5.1B-3 but only have 29% free on the root drive. I have
cleaned up everything I can think of. I've been told that I can use
addvol to add more space. Has anyone done this? Just looking for a
little reassurance here.

Thanks.
