It seems that bash-3.1 doesn't suffer from the "memory fault -core dump"
problem on execution as bash-3.0 does. Havn't investigated in detail
what is behind bash-3.0 causing such problem.
Eric Werme suggested to look more in depth into the stack trace and Brad
Bell suggested to use bash-3.1 as he also have had the "occasional
segfauls with 3.0, which don't seem to exist in 3.1"...He is using Tru64
5.1B...
Thanks to all who responded to my question...
Cheers,
Alen
