Oracle Portal / SSO problem...

Dear Experts,

We have 2 Tru64 hosts, one running Oracle SSO (infrastructure)and the other having Oracle Portal (middle-tier). We have noticed the following error in the portal logs. Further, on using "netstat -a" on this middle-tier Host, we have noticed several connections showing "TIME_WAIT". Can anyone provide some explanation?

It may also be noted that the application on these hosts have been running for more than 2 years without any problem and this is a recent development. Also, no changes have been made on our network infrastructure or on the host configuration for some months now.
